The research process begins with locating high quality background information on a topic. Within OneSearch, we can often find background information by examining a Research Starter.
Aside from providing general background information on a topic, a Research Starter also introduces specific keywords and concepts that we can use to focus our research.
Once you've done some background research, and explored the concepts and keywords involved with your topic, you can use OneSearch's Advanced Search feature to locate more specific information.

The "AND" that appears between the two boxes acts as a connector between the search terms. It is letting OneSearch know that we only want to locate results that include the topic of law enforcement AND training.
