Noodle Tools for Research: Citing Sources

This guide is intended for students who would like to incorporate the use of the NoodleTools program into their bibliographic organization as well as any other project planning that requires these tools.

Citing Your First Source

You can also add a citation directly from a journal source using the Quick Paste and Cite Feature.

Next, once your citation has been copied from the database, you can paste it to NoodleTools' using their Quick Cite feature. This tool can be found on the upper right near the top of the dashboard as illustrated below. 

Check for Errors

Paste your citation into the white space below as illustrated. Check for errors in spelling, author names, and capitalization.  After double-checking, click SAVE (highlighted) when you are done.
