For Faculty using Streaming Videos at Fullerton College Library

The Fullerton College Library has a vast collection of streaming video materials that can be used as supplementary or research materials for a course. We offer both films and documentaries in a wide array of subjects. Unlike YouTube, these films are all licensed so there are no copyright problems as long as faculty limit viewing to students only.

In Canvas, you can provide links to the films so students view the films directly from the streaming video database platforms. Films must be limited to students in your class so links should not be posted on web pages or other publicly accessible platforms. If you embed the film in Canvas or show it through Zoom, the quality may not be as clear and there could be glitches while the film is streaming.

LOGIN: The login for the databases is your MyGateway login.
