With the development of deepfake technology, people can create increasingly more convincing videos that make it appear that a person in a video is doing and saying something by manipulating the image of the person.   

What is Deepfake?  By Ben Dickson, PC Magazine, March 4, 2020.  The Deepfake video of President Obama entitled, "You Won't Believe What Obama Says In This Video!" is a good example of Deepfake technology. 

Verify Validity of Videos

Use the Online Fact Checkers as one way to verify the validity of videos. Snopes also has articles discussing Deepfakes.
