Body Scan

With body scan meditation, you scan your body, noticing any physical sensations, including tension and pain.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation

With progressive muscle relaxation, make your way up or down your body, tightening the muscles and then releasing while breathing deeply.

Autogenic Training

A relaxation technique comprising a series of self-statements while focusing on different parts of the body. Here is an example of guided autogenic training:
